I had a fall last Sunday night and I am still recovering bruises always take ages to appear. Read about it on my Disabled Don Blog http://disableddon.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/i-dont-bounce-when-i-take-fall-but-no.html I would rewrite it all here but EDGE OF HEAVEN has just started and seeing I live in Margate I want to watch it and it makes me smile. Have a good night I am just about to top up on Pain Killers and hit the sack, NITE FOLKS
Hi, in reply to your post title;
nah, me neither!
pollx
Hi Poll I am discovering the older I get the dafter I get I was only trying to reach the TV remote so I could watch Blandings on BBC but I know to wait untill my wife finishes her shower to impatient by half me.
Very good blog! Well done!!! Pat xx
Thanks Pat it gives me something to do and may be high lites MS and other stuff to the world at large I try not to bare my soul to people but make it a bit personal to me
Don your title made me chuckle as I so agree. My padding although more substantial doesn’t protect me from the door frames or handles either. And no matter how I plot my route to avoid obstacles they all continue to jump out and trip me up causing injury and embarrassment too. I think my new decor should have loads of padding, especially on the floor. If they can arrange it for loonies they should be able to accommodate us eh?
Take care. Cath xx
Cath we have had our floors all done with Vinyl tiles the fitter has just left and Heather is putting stuff back in its place and clearing up. I am in the wheelchair full time and the carpet were getting churned up. I only fall now when I do something stupid like I did this time. I am a past master at falling over and have applied to take the degree course ‘falling with style and decorum’ it is a three year diploma course for advance oiodiots like me. I used to always be banging into stationairy objects but now its the wheelchair that hits stuff and it leaves marks on what it hits, before when it was me hitting stuff I could show bruises from falls in each room in the house. Keep on Keeping on. X Don
