Hi all!
Hubby is back from his respite break. …refreshed and with a bit of a tan…he does colour easiy and they had 2 gloriousl warm and sunny days.
The had fun on Wed, when our daughter took the 3 girls bike riding in the forest. Hubby was enjoying some peace and quiet. But Kate fell off her bike and gashed her leg quite badly. They had to call an ambulance and the forest ranger went to fetch my hubby, so he could drive Lindsay`s car, follow the ambulance with the other 2 girls.The cut couldnt be stitched, so steri strips were applied. Lindsay sent me a pic of the cut…yeh, quite nasty!
Hubby rang me to tell me what was happening. Me and sis fumed at people having a nice time and something has to happen to spoil it. We thought they`d go home…we didnt want my hubby back early! They stayed on and Kate was a soldier.
Anyway, I was sooooo well looked after by sis Chris and carer friend Bev. Lucy was more bother than me, leaving puddles here and there, even when the door was open for her to go out. Got to make allowances for her, she`s got continence problems just like her mum! And she will be 15 next Sunday, bless her…didnt expect her to get this far last year.
So it`s back to the usual routine now…hope everyone is enjoying this fine weather.
