Really bad day. Been written off by my rehab consultant as there’s nothing more that he can do for me. Took him all of 3 mins to decide this!

Hi Everyone.
Well my house sale had to stop at the last minute and the stress the potential buyer has caused me has resulted in me getting shingles. I can’t believe that some people are so evil. Long story but she knows I need to move and have packed most of my house up and is now wanting me to drop the price by another 25 000, making a total drop of 35 000 from the “come and get me price”. Sorry for ranting but I’m so angry.
I’m trying to relax but I feel so sorry for more vulnerable people who just bow down to bullies like that. Looking on the bright side, I’m in quarantine in my nice warm cosy home, I’ve got longer to sort through my possessions and I have lovely family and friends who make me feel good. She must be really warped if she’s able to sleep at night after being such a nasty piece of work. Luckily people like that are few. Every cloud has a silver lining people and everything happens for a reason. My sale will go through when the time’s right. Take care.

Sorry about all the stress your buyer has put you through Cath. I hope they’ve given you something to help your shingles and that you’re not suffering too badly from it! Try not to worry about the house sale, as you say, it will happen eventually! Teresa xx
Hi Cath, I’m so so sorry! This happened to us, several years ago…on the day of contract exchange our buyer did the same thing… same amount too. Not only did I say no…I then told the agent I no longer wished to sell the house to her at any price. A tad hasty of me but deeply satisfying! It’s so soul destroying when you’ve started to pack and in your head you’ve almost started to live in the new house. The stress and upset also knocked me off my feet for a couple of weeks. It must be very hard to do but I do so admire your positive attitude. I wish you the very best of luck for a quick sale Cath Nina x
Hi Cath… oh that’s terrible. Should be a bloody law against it!!! Some people worship money like it’s a god… it’s terrible what she’s done to you. Hang on in there hon… your attitude is great… it will go through at the right time. I’m glad you can see your ‘cup as half full’… stay nice and cosy and warm and don’t allow this awful person to stress you out any more. I’ve heard that rubbing sensitive toothpaste on the shingles area helps (it numbs the nerve endings on surface of skin)… so worth a try. Thinking of you Cath and wishing you a quick sale (and here’s hoping that awful woman looks back on this one day and realises the terrible thing she did!!!). Pat xx

Oh what a horrible person to do that, dont give in to her, hopefully what goes around comes around, and she will have her comeuppance.
Please dont let this stress you, as shingles is enough to cope with. Stay warm and cosy, rest as much as you can, and when things are right for you, your house sale will happen.
