To my Brothers&Sisters who have MS
I am a 47yro Man from London who has PP M.S and was wondering does anyone have or feel that when the weather has been as it is now in June 2026 have problems in urinating ?
I already have hesitation when trying to clear the build up in bladder but when the weather’s hot/humid it becomes very difficult more so than before

I’ve already been diagnosed with a neurogenic bladder, and have issues with retention, slow stream ect. I was shown how to self catheterise, and have had bladder Botox for bladder spasms. But this weather has caused increased issues, and I’ve found myself having to self catheterise more time due to not being able to pass urine.
Have you spoken with your ms team regarding this issue as it will put you at greater risk of a UTI which can then affect your ms.

I have not spoken to the Nurse or any other health care professional as I am very cautious of being put on medication as my body really has adverse reaction to most things pharmaceutical
Just try to deal with anything that arises on its own as long as its not too serious
