Hospitalised with burning feet! Help!

Ok so I’ve had a pain in the ball of my foot over a week now. (Feels like a hit poker being pushed thru the ball of my foot whenever I put pressure on it or bear weight).

Ended up at hospital thought I may have broken it. X Ray shows no break, doc thinks ruptured tendon. Advised to rest, ice and elevate for another week.

However this morning BOTH my feet are throbbing and burning!! Feels like I’ve been dancing in ridiculous heels all night (I was actually chilled out at home for the evening lol). Now I can’t bear putting my feet on the ground they’re so sore and my left arm has gone weak (no strength to hold things etc).

So I’ve been dx with Fibro for 9 years but these are mists definitely NOT Fibro symptoms. Does anyone know if these could be MS symptoms? Was tested for MS 9 years ago but no lesions. Should I be requesting further testing? Is it possible that Fibro is wrong and it could end up being MS after all??

Thanks for reading xx

Oh heck! Those feet sure do sound awful! MS symptoms can manifest themselves in all sorts of weird ways.

I wonder if you could get to see a neurologist with experience in MS whilst you are in hospital?

Well I’ve been refered to othopedics foot and ankle specialist. Doc told me to see GP about other symptoms!

Way to make you feel fobbed off eh.

Off to apt on 8th Nov for othopedics and back to GP with other stuff.

Here we go again lol the merry go round that is the NHS xx

i have fibro and suffer with burning feet, especially at night and cant sleep, end up rubbing them up and down wall to try and cool down ice them. look up plantar fasia. or something not sure remembered name correctly.

if all else fails try a cooling spray such as actimist
