High Serum Ferritin levels (bloods)

Hi I have been diagnosed for nearly 10 years and have my bloods done sporadically, at times the GPs ask me to get them repeated every month and other times leave me until I contact them. For a few years now my Serum ferritin and Serum Gamma rights are out of range my Gamma is regularly over 180 (the range is 5 - 40) and my ferritin is up to 270 (the range is 20 -130) is this a common result for patients with MS? I can see that it is linked to inflammation and possibly progression but my GP has not called me in to discuss at all so I just want to see if these rate are normal for others with RRMS. tHANKS

I have never been told my ferritin or gamma levels. I assume they have always been normal. I’ve had MS for 22 years, so I don’t think those readings are usual.

Are you taking any medication? Could that be affecting the readings? I recommend talking to your GP about this.
