Hello,
I went to my doctor because I am extremely tired all the time and all my joints are sore and achy. I told him that I have this weird pressure in my stomach and it seems to get worse when I have a big meal. He sent me to get bloodwork done and my C-Reactive Protein came back extremely high (22.3). He told me it was because of a virus that I had, but I never felt sick and didn’t go to the doctor because of a sickness.
Something is telling me he is missing something, but I was wondering if anyone could elaborate on this high protein that I have.
Any response would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
I don’t know much about it, but I have had MS for a long time but my C-RP (which they measure monthly because if the drug I’m on) is low and stable. It might be a different matter just now because I have a nasty non-MS-related infection, but it wouldn’t be the MS that was causing it in my case, I don’t think.
Hi, I’m new to this forum and would just say that you know your body and the effects that MS has on what you can and cannot do and how tired you are feeling, if you think the Dr has missed something and your still feeling unwell then either go back to yr Dr or speak to your MS nurse. I wish you well and hope this problem is related to your recent infection and your other symptoms pass quickly
