Hi ALL virtual family!! How is your tingling?

Hi all!!!

As many know, my MRI of brain and cervical was clear and I was told to forget MS as I did not have lesions related to MS.

But of course, I do have still tingling especially at night in bed… Its annoying in the feet.

I am really interested to know if you have or had tingling sensations and how is this sensation ??

I mean… If I am in my bed, feel this tingling in my feet BUT if I stand up it begins yo disappear, if I Cross my legs inmediately the tingling starts in my feet… Again I put my foot on the floor and It disappears…

What I mean is that I can change my tingling sensations by changing body position…

I felt really well with my clear MRI… But I am asking you if your tingling sensations change if you move that part of your body.

Its been 4 months since I have this tingling.

I had rutinary Blood tests…not specific… I mean the typical normal Blood test made when you go to urgencies at hospital.

Hugssssss to you all!!! Especially @Ssssue @alison100 Mick!!! @Mogace etc etc sorry if I forget anyone!

LOVE u all family

It sounds like your blood isn’t circulating correctly to your feet. Have you described it just this way to your doctor? I don’t really know anything about blood vessels, but maybe with this description he can figure out what’s causing it. It’s almost like something in your foot is being pinched.

What you describe could be as Noras mon said vascular, or you could have a trapped nerve somewhere where when you stand up it is released and when you lay down it traps…

Also you could just be too warm in bed my MS tingling is always worse at night, so i wear a bed cage over my covers so my legs do not have the weight on them.

My daughter has Fibromyalgia and she gets tingles in bed, and my sister in law is diabetic she has same too its worse in bed.

I think you need to have specific blood tests like low B12, and magnesium. try a magnesium spray when you go to bed and see if it helps.

I have tingling in my face at the moment. But my tingling is always in my legs no matter what position i am in.

Hope you find out soon. There are specific groups for Fibromyalgia https://www.enfa-europe.eu/spain/ maybe worth chatting to them. Is the tingling all you have? or do you have other symptoms?

CRAZY CHICK.

Good to hear about the clear MRI scan. The tingling sensation could be caused by various issues, so your doctor needs to work out which specialist is required to help you out. I guess that this might mean that you need a bunch of tests. Let’s hope they rule out anything nasty and that they can resolve any small condition and problem. Fingers crossed that you are feeling 100% very soon.

Yes… Tingling is my only symptom… Cross my leg and It inmediately appears… Put my foot on the floor… And instantly disappears…

Its boooring

I woke up with my hand numb… I shake It and starts to awake

Hello SS

It sounds like you’ve got a case of ‘random weird nerve tinglyitis’ to me.

Or something else.

My feet tingle when they’ve been having blood pool up in them for too long. Aka sitting with my feet on the floor without raising them up. The tingling gets worse for a while when I do raise them. Thus does sound like its vascular (NM and CC between them have come up with answers that could incorporate this).

Really, it could be anything!

Someone on here made a very useful post a few weeks ago about tingling in the arms / hands when sleeping, that goes after you get up. This is nearly always due to sleeping with your hands and arms too bent. It is possible to get arm braces that stop you bending your arms whilst you sleep, so you learn a better way to sleep that doesn’t cause tingling. Alternatively, if you know this might be a cause, then it is possible to correct your sleeping position everytime you realise you are going to sleep in a position that overly bends the arm or wrist, so that you gradually teach yourself better sleeping positions.

I have permanent tingling in my feet. It went from transitory tingling to permanent tingling over the last 30 or so years. It varies from mild to quite insistent. I can ignore it most of the time.

I recently was getting tingling and numbness in my arms and hands when sleeping - and yes that is due to my sleeping position. I’ve virtually cured that through altering my sleeping postion.

I also get transient tingling in my left hand finger tips. That isn’t to do with my sleeping position, and it can happen day or night, and lasts a few hours to days. As I have loads of nettles in my garden I get nettled on a regular basis, so am used to tingling sensations. Whilst those specific finger tip tingles aren’t due to nettles, they don’t feel that different, so again I’m pretty good at ignoring them!

It’s very weird that my tingling sensations only come at night when I am in my bed…

It goes away standing Up… Although I can feel a little bit of tingling in my knees too when I stand Up… Also starts 9 seconds after crossing my legs.

My GP after seeing my MRI told me to go yo PSYQUIATRY… Well… I must be crazy…

Sorry for the pic… But I woke up with this foot!

29 years old!!! Jajajaja

By the way …

This is me, as I posted before a picture of the other Sergio jaja …

And this is our little boy!! Christian!!! The son of my sister in-law.
