My son has had MS for 25 years he is 56 now and in a care home in Northumberland. He manages his life ok he gets on with it and has never complained “why me”
Lately he has been down in the dumps so to speak, the home he is in does not do a lot of activities for people to join in & what they organise is mainly for older less active people.
Last night he sent a text saying “well another day over & nothing to do”
I’m concerned he said that he must be so bored and I see why it’s a worry.
I said are there any organisations that want volunteers any places that do activities in the area…. he didn’t know.
Does anyone know of some that would help him to have a more active life.
He needs to be hoisted while in the care home but once in his electric chair he can whizz about
Can anyone give suggestions
