I wake up every morning with my neck hurting, and a headache on top of my head it feels like pressure. I get the headache through out the day, as well as dizzeness. Tried different pillows, and they are not helping. Told its not ms related. This is happening everyday, and making me fill ill. As sometimes i am woken, with head and neck pain, in the night as well.
Worth asking an osteopath or chiropractor to take a look. A little bit of manipulation could set some of the tension free. Make sure you pick one with neurological experience (and ideally MS or other degenerative conditions) as a lot of them spend their time treating sports injuries.
Hi, I have previously suffered from head pains. They were sharp stabbing/zapping pains which lasted no longer than 30 seconds then went away and came back again.
I was hospitalised when I first had mine in 2005 because when the pains came they also affected my speech and also my movement and I was getting up to 30 or more a day rendering me pretty much unable to do anything.
Nowadays I tend to get the head pains every now and again and stress seems to be a trigger for me!
Mine were definately MS related as i had 2 relapses in 2 months due to 2 relapses clise together with MRI scans each time which showed an increase in Lesions.
My gp also tested my Vit D levels which were very low so I was put on a mega dose for 8 weeks or so and have self medicated since then. Would be a goid idea to see if your GP will test your Vit D anyway.
Do you have a MS diagnosis yet?
Fingers crossed you can get some answers. Please feel free if you want to PM me at all.
