Halifax soon to have a new loo

Afternoon all!

I have great news and Boudica has hardly got her wheels mucky!

I contacted a few local bods re my campaign for Changing Places loos in Halifax.

There is a new arts centre opening in a few weeks in the town and it will have one of the all singing all dancing variety of loos!

Thing is, nobody told the national register for Changing Places toilets.

So I have done that and asked for it to be listed in the national directory.

I have also been told that the CP loo at the swimming pool is open to anyone who needs it, not just swimmers.

So even if I`ve done nothing to get the loos here, I have done my bit for the general awareness of the places, eh?

So if any of you could use the better than usual disabled loos, just google Changing Places toilets and you can where they are.

I`m off to the new Trinity Shopping centre in Leeds tomorrow, and will be making my maiden trip to a CP loo there.

Hi Poll, I think that’s wonderful. Well done hon… knowledge is power and lots of disabled people will now know that the arts centre has a loo for them and that, as we know, can make the difference between going or staying home!!!
