ive been away so long that some of you will have forgotten me! I’ve had to change my profile pic and things. I had to leave my soon to be ex-husband, with my daughter at the turn of the year, with the help of woman’s aid and the police. We had 20 mins to leave the house and we’re moved to a safe house. We are still in a safe house but this is a nice one.
He has been charged with a list of charges against my son, as there is plenty of back up evidence, however nothing against me as there was not enough substantial evidence to stand up in court.
So now 10 months later I have amazing friends, I have a truely amazing, wonderful star of a human who is standing by me, and helping me in every single way, most days. I couldn’t be without them, and they have joined the forum to learn about MS and everything. No one in my life has done anything like this for me before.
Welcome back, sorry to hear you have had such a dreadful experience, things can only get better now, glad you have good support, and are in a place of safety.
I have still got my little dog Rufus with me, as I said when I was leaving he was my therapy dog or they would have made me leave him and I couldn’t be without him. He was my little hero!
Now we also have a little Ragdoll kitten called Rosie! She is my daughters early Christmas present, she is absolutely beautiful, she is however a little madam! And as crazy as a loon, and enjoys pestering the poor old dog to bits, but he’s so patient with her. Rufus still tells me when I need a lie down, and can tell when I need my meds. Couldn’t be without him.
im so looking forward to having more time with you all! Oh and my closest friend Billy who has joined as a carer, ran the Glasgow men’s 10K for MS society and got us a load of sponsorship money. I have the medal from it on my wall. But I am so very proud of him! Xx
its so lovely to read all of your news Im so glad that you got to keep Rufus, My life wouldn’t be complete without Frazer what a difference they make to us. Rosie sounds amazing too. Quite few of us on here rely on our therapy pets … I know Pat has Dickie and Steve Snore has Seymore.
take care we are all so glad that you are back, i wondered where you were.
