My daughter has just been awarded the enhanced rates of PIP after being on DLA. As I am her carer do I need to inform DWP about this with regards to the carers allowance I receive please?

No, you shouldn’t do as the conditions for receipt of Carers Allowance is identical. But if it makes you feel happier to do so (covering all eventualities - which I fully understand!), then just write to them.
