Eeee, so many disgruntled damsels in distress over footwear.
And all the time we hear and see lasses talking about or wearing the most fantastic clodhoppers!
I had a couple of my world class falls wearing flipflops and having foot drop! One of the falls was on a canal bridge, which was about to swing to let boats pass! The bridge man had sounded his warning hooter, but i was face to floor shouting, Wait, dont do it yet!
My hubby was with me and said one minute I was beside him, the next i disappeared and he was across the bridge before hed realised I wasn
t!
Best part was when I was picked up by a burly, six pack adorned bridge man and taken to a place of safety! If anyone knows Shepherds Patch brige, Slimbridge...you
ll know what a beautiful location i decided to do my spectacular sprawl it is!
So the flipflops went straight in the bin…likwise any other shoes that werent conducive to a floppy person
s feet!
Now I wear granny boottee slippers, and velcro sandals. I do have some pretty pumps but they make my feet swell. being in a wheelie has one up side…I never wear shoes out!
Happy days!
