Does anyone else get this? i feel as if iv’e come off a roundabout my heads spinning and i feel sick. i went on the bus to Chester yesterday with Molly and her friend… she was very good, her friend has autism like Molly but is milder so she actually a good role model but i think it was too much and coming back travelling backwards… like you have to in the wheelchair space i felt incredibly sick but i still feel hung over this morning. Does anyone else get this awful vertigo ?
I had it a few years ago. The GP said it was down to labrynthitis and put me on some antibiotics. It improved a little but another doctor gave me a series of positions to hold myself in-they were all lying down positions. I wasn’t that good at remembering to do them but it has died down a lot. I have to remember to move my head slowly.
Still feeling hung over, it seems to lift and then quickly come back, my eyes are very weird the double vision is worse than normal and what bit of balance I had left is terrible. I hope it gets better I’m going to Glasgow next week my son is ok picking me and the two girls up I don’t cope well with travelling when the vertigo is bad. Michelle
Between Ataxia & Nystagmus, I can quite easily get dizzy and I don’t have vertigo. The nystagmus means I get a lot of headaches if I don’t wear a patch to give my eyes a bit of rest. I hope it’s something that passes for you.
