Hello.

I had it a few years ago. The GP said it was down to labrynthitis and put me on some antibiotics. It improved a little but another doctor gave me a series of positions to hold myself in-they were all lying down positions. I wasn’t that good at remembering to do them but it has died down a lot. I have to remember to move my head slowly.

This might help:

Best wishes, Steve. x

Hi Michelle

I am sorry to hear that the dreaded vertigo has entered your life, time to rest, and hopefully it will go away quickly for you.

It reminds me of the feeling I get on a boat, thinking of you ((((hugs))))

Still feeling hung over, it seems to lift and then quickly come back, my eyes are very weird the double vision is worse than normal and what bit of balance I had left is terrible. I hope it gets better I’m going to Glasgow next week my son is ok picking me and the two girls up I don’t cope well with travelling when the vertigo is bad. Michelle

Nope but if I drink alcohol I know that feeling

Don, are one of the lucky bearers of the MS millstone who can drink? You’re a lucky man. (So am I, I’m just putting down some nice malt.)

Cheers.

Between Ataxia & Nystagmus, I can quite easily get dizzy and I don’t have vertigo. The nystagmus means I get a lot of headaches if I don’t wear a patch to give my eyes a bit of rest. I hope it’s something that passes for you.
