Who is your local MP ( i volunteer for the CAB) and if you where telling me this my first reaction was to contact your MP’s office and get something sorted, your local CAB should have his/her details

Hi jasonblaze

It sounds like you’re going through a really difficult time and feeling pretty low at the moment. It’s encouraging that you felt you could come to the forum for support. The MS Helpline is here to offer you a safe place to talk and explore your options, and how you are feeling. You can contact them on their freephone line at 0808 800 8000 or email them at helpline@mssociety.org.uk.

It sounds like you are having trouble accessing medication and medical care and attention. You may find it helpful to contact NHS direct, who have an information line and may be able to help you. You can contact them on 0845 4647.

Depending on where you are based, there is a new NHS service called NHS 111 that is being piloted to make it easier for you to access local NHS healthcare services. You can contact them by dialling 111 which is a freephone number.

The Samaritans are also available 24 hours a day, and provide confidential emotional support for people experiencing suicidal feelings – they can be contacted on 08457 90 90 90 or you can email them at jo@samaritans.org.

The Helpline is open today until 9pm and at various times over the Christmas break. Call or email for support and information

London enfield at the moment but under Lambeth and that’s where i should be

Jasonblaze,

Just spoke to Enfield council re: your free travel pass. If it’s a pensioner freedom pass, it can be renewed at a post office. If it’s a disabled pass (which runs out after 5 years) then you have to fill out a form from Enfield council (which they can send to you in the post).

Their number is 020 8379 1000

They are Open 8am - 6pm, Monday - Friday, but closed 24th/25th/26th.

http://www.enfield.gov.uk/contact_us

If you were living in Lambeth before, they may have your details on record.

Don’t know if that’s any help. Just thought the travel pass might be the easiest problem to tackle.

Let us know me you’re getting on

It was a vetarans pass. issued by the mayors office different. to the council issue one and i can’t really do it till i know I’m goinng to stay put for the four to six it takes to sort out tried to get them to send it to a alternative address but they said it had to go to my adddress .thanks for trying though

As a former serviceman your services benevollent fund (navy, army, RAF) should be able to advise you and/or be able to act on your behalf. Hope this is of some help to you Sue
