if it gets too hot outside i just pop back in to the hotel/ casino. all air conditiond.

Never heard of that saying Annelda.

Las Vegas sounds lush Mickthetrick. That was nice of Shania Twain too. Something you will never forget.

Mick the trick, Las Vegas is great isn’t it? very easy to get around,so air conditioned it’s sometmes a bit too cold but as you say just nip in and out…of anywhere really, heard the best comment evert in the Venetian ‘well, where else but here could you ride in a gondola?’ to which the adult daughter replied dead pan ‘maybe in Paris mom, that’s where they come from’, I do hope they were just messing around but sadly…I don’t think they were! Such a good fun place, just for people watching!

ye it really is great Maude.

we go to other places and enjoy them but to be honest nothing has beat the vegas experiance. were planning a trip back next year, all being well

I just wish for a holiday anywhere…used to go sailing couldn,t do it now.

Hired a lovely boat on Caledonian Canal once…then went round the outside camping…bliss except for the mozzies

My heart yerns for a place by the sea.

For holidays with my husband, the Lake District. It’s only about 90 minutes from home to our favourite hotel but it’s a complete change of scene.

For holidays without my husband, Stockholm or the far north of Sweden - Land of the Midnight Sun in summer but not quite true 24 hour daylight - a litlle south of the Arctic Circle. The only thing I would change is the bugs: the mosquitos and other biting flying things all think I have exceptionally tasty blood - and I react badly to their bites! However, for landscapes, nature, peace and family connections, you can’t beat it!

Mick, not like you can’t visit NY.Paris,Venice and Egypt when you’re in Vegas.lol! Going back next year,we’re meting some Australian friends of ours there, meanwhile trying to persuade hubby that another long distance train trip’s a good idea (which it is!) I’ve completely gone off flying,so the less the better, boats and trains are much more civilised.

Ooohh, a holiday anywhere would be lovely, especially somewhere near the sea. I used to live in north Wales on the coast but jobs for my older kids were in short supply so we moved to my husbands birthplace… In Staffordshire, West midlands… *tut…
