Hi everyone. I’m new here waiting to see what MRI results show. Symptoms are shooting pains in arms legs and feet, twitching muscles, bladder control problems, fatigue, brain fog and a toe that moves on its own! (Neuro stuff has so many symptoms!!)
I also have very painful feet but I think thats plantar facitous (no idea on spelling!)
Anyway, all this to say I did a work out this morning, it felt very manageable and I did lots of stretching before and after (I love a good stretch) and now I feel like my legs can barely hold me up. I know you can feel.sore after a workout but I feel weak which is new for me. Could this be a symptom?
It could be but it won’t necessarily last What you describe a reminds me of me 25 years ago on a girls’ weekend when I was still pretending not to have ms and I had gone to the gym like a normal person and afterwards I really truly thought I’d done myself a mischief. It was a short term pseudo-exacerbation brought on by the unaccustomed exertion and probably heat as well. I didn’t know about those at the time.
I hope you find the same, but I’m only talking about my own experience and I don’t know anything about yours. so if you’re worried, please do seek proper medical advice.
I’m guessing that as Alison100 says , it could be but it might not be. I think I would wait a few days and see how your legs are then.
On the plus side, the fact that you engage in exercise is really positive if turns out you do have MS…even if it doesn’t always feel like it. You may need to experiment a bit to find what works for you, but being someone who exercises already improves your prognosis.
