Has anyone applied to the ECO4 scheme to get financial help for a new boiler? I’m wondering if MS qualifies, at least for those of us on immunosuppressant drugs. Would be interesting to hear other’s experiences. I’m not on means-tested benefits so would have to rely on the diagnosis itself.

I’m in the process, apparently ESA is not one of the approved benefits. So they take a different route and go by diagnosis as long as you earn under 31 thousand a year. They just ask for proof of diagnosis, utility bills and proof of ownership of property. At present I’m awaiting a survey to be done, but they’re talking about solar panels, more roof insulation and heaters as there’s no mains gas in my area.
It’s worth applying for, you don’t know until you ask. The company does all the leg work, with finding a contractor to do the work. I hope you get on ok.
