Hi everyone,I have just got back from the DVLA my licence but this time they have given me 5 years,previously when I renewed it was always a 3 year one,the letter said about my MS (which is PPMS) and had been no change,as with PPMS I get told by my neurologist nothing much they can do with PPMS.I was wondering is this the norm now with licence renewals as my previous 2 licences were always 3 yr ones.I drive from my wheelchair a VW Caddy with hand controls.
That is interesting, I got my licence from the DVLA a few months ago and it was for 5 years also. I thought they had made a mistake. not going to say anything. Just glad I got it. My last 3 where for 3 years
I got my new licence a week ago and it’s only for 3 years. I’m also PPMS. However it could be because I’ll be 70 this year.
I got mine in September i think, that was the first renewal and it was for 3 years only
I just got my licence back a week or so ago, first renewal, and it is a 5 year one, I’m PPMS as well.
