do you think its my ms?

Hi,

Over the weekend I’ve noticed a numbing feeling in my the tops on my thumb & one finger. Its only on one hand, doesn’t seem to be clearing. Any thoughts?

Hi Minnie

I have had this constantly on my left hand for the past five years after a sensory relapse on my left arm. My thumb and first finger have numbness on the tips all the time. If I’ve been gardening or cooking, for instance, then my fingers will go stiff and the numbness might spread to the other fingers for a little while. I’ve learned to live with it and it’s my new ‘normal’.

As it is new for you, you should get it logged on your records. I don’t think there is anything you can take to help with this symptom but hopefully in your case it will pass.

The fingers on my right hand are the same. I can’t feel the dog when I stroke her with this hand. It’s been there for a year or so now so I don’t think its going to go away now. Hopefully yours will get back to normal.
