Do symptoms and pain wondering if it’s related to my multiple sclerosis

I have recently been having a lot of pain in both my forearms going into my elbows hurting so bad to take my shirt off. It hurts the most in the morning. I also wake up every morning with my feet, numb stiff and hurting. I also know when you have multiple sclerosis, your immune system is pretty low as mine is because I am currently on Ocrevus. I have developed a few other things since I’ve had multiple sclerosis. I’m wondering if the pain I am having could be rheumatoid arthritis has anybody dealt with any of this?

I’m not on Ocrevus but I’m wondering if the pain in your arms could be a side effect of the drug? Might be worth speaking to your MS Nurse?

Have you seen your GP, in the first instance?

My GP has been really helpful in sussing out which things are likely to be MS and which things are something else. Even some things that looked to me like typical MS (foot drop) turned out to have other causes, so it makes sense to check all the options.

On rheumatoid arthritis, interestingly I think research has shown that people with MS are a bit less likely to get rheumatoid arthritis than people without MS. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen, though, and obviously you should get a proper medical opinion!
