Hi everyone,
I’m hoping to get some advice or hear from anyone who’s experienced something similar. I’ve been dealing with dizziness for about 10 weeks now. Some days are a bit better, but other days it’s really overwhelming and I struggle with even the simplest tasks.
It’s starting to affect my day-to-day life quite a lot, and honestly I’m feeling pretty desperate for some answers or reassurance.
Has anyone else with MS experienced ongoing dizziness like this? If so, did anything help you manage it or improve things? I’d really appreciate any tips, experiences, or guidance you can share.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this ![]()
Hi Helen. If it’s something like Vertigo or an inner ear problem, your MS team or GP should be able to help.
I’m partially sighted due to losing most of the left side peripheral vision in both eyes. This often stops me from being able to focus on a single stable point when I’m moving and, can cause a little dizziness. There’s nothing to be done for it because it’s caused by a big lesion on my right Occipital lobe. I just have to be a bit more careful and put more thought into my route whenever I want to move now.
Good luck mate - I hope it eases up for you soon x
Jon.
It appears that dizziness is a fairly common symptom of MS and probably worth asking a Chemist if a travel sickness pill like Stugeron could help.
Many thanks. Ive tried virtigo meds (betahistine dihydtouchloride) and stergeron (cinnarizone) but still dizzy on a daily basis sadly.
Hi Jon, yes very much like virtigo and ive tried several meds but nothing seems to help! Just waiting on the results of my recent MRI so maybe that might show something? X
