hello there, have you not realised by now that no matter how disabled a person is, and even worse, if they are younger, old gits think of only me, me, me, they think that anyone over 65 is the only sufferer there is, that they should be given the utmost courtesy and manners, as has been said, if you had been thinking straight, you should have called the police, left the *itch worrying over a charge of at least criminal damage, to which she should be made to pay for the damage to the car, age is no barrier to disability, or to common courtesy, you’d think that the old ‘dear’ would understand the sentiment, There but for the grace of God, go I, brian
hi thought i’d put my tupence in as well. Have read some of the replies had a good think about it and agree with brian , disability doesn’t attached itself solely to old ask my brother in law who has been in a wheelchair most of his days. This woman was just totally lacking in either brains or manners, either way she has caused you additional grief and expense and maybe you should contact the retail park and the police because if she has done this to you do you she may no doubt do it again.
take care
trish
OMG, that’s terrible, I know what I would like to have done with her stick, old or not, when I was newly DX, park at my local supermarket, this very posh old woman who was parked next to me said, do you have a blue badge, and if so why, answer to her first Q, yes, answer to the 2nd, none of you’re bloody business, they make me sick, you take care, Jean x
Just wanna add my two pennarth into the mass of justified replies you received.
Just cos she was an elderly lady, shouldn
t mean she`s exempt from the laws regarding vandalism.
When out with me, folk can see i`m disabled as i use a wheelie…that makes it easy in one way.
When im out with my daughter and she sees someone who is obviously not disabled, using disabled parking bays, she says out loud,
I didnt know ignorance was a disability
.
But you mustnt stop using your deserved parking bay. I know it was very frightening for you, but don
t let these ignorant people win…old or young!
I was once parked on yellow lines as i couldn`t find a vacant disabled bay and a traffic warden questioned my eligibility to park where I had.
This was before I used a wheelie. She said i looked too young to be disabled! Where do these people get off being so damned ignorant?
