Has anyone tried dr Terry wahl’s diet

Hi normally I have a quite good diet ,vegetarian for about a year and only a small amount of processed food, for some reason About a month ago I strangely ate some cookies and bacon this really flared up all of my symptoms.So I did some research and decided to start the Whals diet eating lots of root veg ,flax seed oil ,oily fish no dairy or gluten.I found my really obvious mistake was I am normally am constantly eating through out the day and just before I go to bed ,part of the diet is about giving your gut time to recover between meals which I have now achieved. I am new to this diet about three weeks and no expert but I feel so much better.
