I’ve finally done the third part of the diet account. The diet itself continues. I don’t think there is ever a magic formula for this sort of thing. The main ingredients are time and persistence.
Having the feed back from the previous diet posts has really helped me. I’m not sure about my next blog. Soon I’m going out on the bus on my new electronic chair. I might be brave and stick some photos on as well.
Hope you’re keeping you fish intake up? Tinned fish is as good as fresh fish except for tuna which loses its omega 3 when tinned.
Here’s a very easy & tasty dish: Slice large bell peppers into strips (I usually buy a pack of 3 with a red, green and yellow or orange pepper as they all contain different nutrients).
Fry very gently with sliced onion and garlic. Stir in some dried chilli flakes. Fry gently until they have cooked down nicely and then add a tin of fish in tomato sauce (pilchards or mackerel or whatever)…or if not in tomato sauce add some tomato purée.
Serve with rice.
