I have been on here off and on for years. I have had neurological symptoms for just over 20 years. 3 years ago, every individual symptom I ever had came and stayed with me.
I am now a wheelchair user, hardly come out of my home have a carer unable to many things.
4 weeks ago I contacted my gp in regards to spine pain, this was not the usual shocks I get in spine.
This was burning and also my right shoulder and sternum are affected accompanied by intense right numbness in hand and arm. (I get numbness, pins and needles anyway).
I couldn’t get a gp appointment for 2 weeks. On Saturday I reluctantly called 111 just to see if they could get me a gp appointment for the Monday.
They sent out a paramedic within minutes and he did some observations etc.
He called an ambulance to take me to hospital.
I have been here ever since, my spine pain is unbearable feels like inside is on fire. None of the pain relief even morphine is even touching the pain.
I had a spine MRI yesterday which the result showed a demyelination plaques.
Today I have a brain MRI.
They will get all past MRI brain scans and compare them.
