Hello!
It’s so irritating! I completely agree.
It’s usually my right upper eye lid that has a mind of it’s own. Yesterday my left eyebrow decided to join the party!
Grrrr

Oh it’s not good is it Mike
For years I had what I thought was restless legs but that changed couple of years ago to bodily jerks as well as the leg thing whilst laying in bed so on the rare occasion that I was asleep it’d wake me up - thrashing about like something out of the Exorcist …
Thankfully my neuro prescribed Clonazepam and for the most part it’s pretty much under control now…but that darn eye though…

Hi Debbie It’s horrible, with the spasm in my legs, my face twitching and then a tremor in my left eye. Looked in the mirror and thought ‘the bells, the bells’ or I was gonna model the 2012 voodoo doll collection Mike x
lol - I imagine my ex is stabbing a voodoo doll everytime I jerk!
I didn’t tell the neurologist that’s a more likely explanation for my symptoms than my brain not working or he’d have me committed into a nuthouse immediately
…LOL…But despite it all though Mike, we still have a sense of humour
They say that laughter is the greatest healer (sadly not literally though…) but we’re definitely giving it a good ole bash which helps
But joking aside, be sure to mention your ‘twitches and moves’ when you next see your nurse or neuro, there are meds that may help you
Debbie xx
Hi Debbie At the min I have no meds as such-bog standard painkillers. I have just tested -be for JC virus, so my neuro is waiting for scan to see if eligible or tysabri. Now test -ve he looking at this. May help when start Dunno wat I do on sat nite now with no moves-ha Mike x
Oh you do make me chuckle Mike!
I see my neuro again in August when it’ll be decided whether I come off Copaxone or not. If I do then I’ll be monitored for a while before probably either starting Gilenya or Tysabri
…it never rains but…
Normal analgesics don’t help with neuropathic pain so it’s worth getting onto your nurse or neuro for some better meds - they can make a big difference to us on a day to day basis.

Hi Debbie I have just had JC virus blood test for tysabri side effects (pml) they came bak -ve (good) just waiting scan results and neuro to say I can start. Mike x
Dunno if lack of concentration an issue with this, I have lesion s on my brain stem and in the area of my brain where cognaive things ae done, must be why I think of washing up, hen forget. But I just told you’re same in the post before yours, this is on a be a good day Mike x
Oh don’t worry Mike I frequently forget stuff or get things a$$e about face!!
Have you had a look at the stayingsmart website it has some useful tips and gadget recommendations to help with cognitive and memory issues. The good thing about the site is that you can leave ‘tips’ for others too.
Good news about the test results - fingers crossed they get you started on Tysabri as soon as!
Debbie xx
p.s. You may do this already but I’ll say it anyway: I have a little notebook purely for nurse and neuro appts where I jot down questions I wanna ask or symptoms etc that have been bothersome…It’s getting in the habit of writing things down and remembering to take said notebook with…LOL…I have forgotten on occasions!
I make lists and forget to take them with me, too. durr …
I’ve had eyebrow twitches in the past, and an upper lip twitch in the corner of my mouth that drove me frankly insane for a few days.
Cognitive stuff is an odd one, I get a bit foggy during relapses but can do that during these three day migraines I get, where my head is a bit hurty but won’t respond to NSAIDS, and everything is a bit hard but I don’t really notice how bad I feel until I come out the other side and feel so much better. Had two in a year which is a lot for me, had three full on migranes since age 14 (21 and 28 - spot a VERY strong pattern there? Hmm) and since my first relapse have had visual oddities too, bright zigzags etc.
