Cystoscopy and Suprapubic Catheter

Hi all. Hope you are all doing as well as can be.

I’m on a waiting list to have a SPC by local anaesthetic . I received an appointment letter this morning to have a Cystoscopy as a day case. I assume they will be inserting the Suprapubic catheter at the same time as the cystoscopy.

I’m very confused.

Would appreciate your help.

Thanks Sue. You’re a star!!

I got in touch with the team and was told that the Supra pubic catheter would be fitted at the same time, so all sorted.

Hi, I had a cytoscopy some months after spc was fitted, as i was having some unexplined pain and by passing. They just had a nosey round .nowt found…settled ok.
