Has anyone had the feeling where you have cramp in your jaw, then moves to your throat and feels kind of restrictive and then feels like reflux? It’s happened a couple of times where I felt like head was going to explode but this time was really painful
Hi @Ken75 I’ve had all three symptoms but not necessarily at the same time. I would describe it as lockjaw myself and it worries me when that happens. Almost imagine that it’s going to be permanent. Then I have swallowing issues from time to time. That always makes me feel like I’m going to choke to death. The reflux also is unpleasant. Always feel like I’ve got a.. can’t think of a better way to say it.. but it always makes me think I’ve got an mouthful of sick in my mouth.. most unpleasant and even after brushing my teeth and rinsing with mouthwash I can still have that sicky taste.

I think the jaw part is probably the worst part. It’s so bloody painful and scary as it feels like it’s not going to stop
The reflux is the same as that feeling you get when tablets get stuck in your throat, I had to drink a pint of water to get rid of it.
I’d say that more than a few other people would have had similar things too. No two people are alike, but there’ll be plenty of similarities between people even if their symptoms are not identical. As I said.. I don’t necessarily have them all together but individually they’re bad enough. The swallowing is my worst thing. Feel like there’s something stuck in my throat and even drinking doesn’t always help a great deal. It does eventually go even if my throat still feels quite tight for a while.
I feel like one triggers the other if that makes sense?
Oh yes but I get throat cramp, keep it clean, when I yawn or very strangely when I take a big gulp of water
