Good day to all in msland, I have been coming on the MS site for a good number of years now, but due to ill health/body weak, I haven’t been here for a good few months, the new site has been slated by a good number of “old” hands, claiming that it’s too hard to post/follow post etc, and that they will not be back, whether we like it or not, time stands for no-one, we should not halt progress but adjust and embrace it, I may be speaking to newbies, the old ones have left-??, but if they are out there, please stick with us, we need you as much as you need us, persevere with new site, and say hello to old wanted/unwanted friends, the postings may not come as fast as before, but they come, united we stand, divided we fall, brian
As I have been saying on and off for a looong time - this site works for me! The old one did too and I fully expect the next version to be just as useful, informative and fun Clare
I am trying to stick with it but must say I’m finding it hard, I don’t seem to be able to reply to people correctly :? and I can’t stay on to learn as my back hurts and am on a computer timer to help with the pain, that’s working anyway. Wendy x
I can’t stay on long as it messes up my eyes and I start to feel nausea right about…now. This is very upsetting as I love this site and do miss it. I’m not the only person who has this problem, as I have a few other buddies who don’t hang around or post due to this. MS did this to me. The MSS shouldn’t be making things worse. Ah well…back to facebook. xxxx
I have onlyone problem although I don’t post or read as often as I did. I just wish admin would remove the option to print green and red. Many people with MS have problems with these colours and often can’t see them.I can, just but it plays havoc with the eyes. Sue
Can’t get the search ffunction to work either?..
I still don’t like this site - it is shameful I’m not talking about the people or the information sharing as these aspects are wonderful But whoever designed this website does not understand people with MS SHAMEFUL
I’m finding it difficult not because it’s new but because of my eye sight, damage caused by MS so I did think the MSS would produce a site that took that into account. I know a lot of people who are having the same issues. I hope the ’ mark 2 ’ site takes these issues into account and we can all get back to normal. I look forwards to this because like so many it is a big part of my life and I miss the company, the chats all of it.I really hope everyone comes back. Best to you Brian, hope you’re feeling better, xxjo
Greetings “Brian” and all you MSrs out there, Hmm, I was not to keen at first on OUR new site, however we had no choice because the old site was dying and on its last legs. I have lost some of my MS buddies and i do miss them so. Being one of the oldies “I,m Still here” I cant go anywhere else. The old site was a comfort blanket to lots of us, but sadly things never stay the same. So i say this! “Learn to embrace this, our new site. Its us the people who will make this new site our own. Lets all make up our minds to make it work. We need to, because sadly we still need one another to help us all, live with MS” Love to all, Domestic Goddess x
Hi all Numerous improvements - especially on display and usability - are on the way in version two of the updated forums. More on these in the next week or two. Greg [admin]

Hi DG, I’d love to embrace this site. However, I can’t focus on the type/script and I start to feel nauseous about… NOW. It’s not about not learning to embrace the new site - I can’t stay here long because it exacerbates my very old MS symptoms. I know this will change, but I’m feeling so upset at not being able to stay on for long and it’s nothing to do with making my mind up to make it work! I can’t stay on long enough to make anything work. Please, please those of you who can see this site clearly, give those of us a break who can’t…please? I love this board. It’s been a part of my life for years. I never expected these visual problems, but I feel very let down and alone at the moment and I am not the only one with these problems. Got to go as I’m seeing double now. This doesn’t happen anywhere else. yours very sadly K xxxx

I second this motion! Clarexxx
Sorry but for some of us it is very hard to get used to; both physically and mentally, I will dip in and out but won’t use it as I did the old one, roll on the new site. Wendy x

[a=150]Hello everyone. I am new to the site & have been trying to change my username following the instructions given but have had no luck so far. Can anyone give me some more simple instructions for someone not very computer literate. Any advise will be much appreciated.
