I can’t walk, I can’t raise either leg from the hip, but I can weight bear to transfer, but much depends on the height of the seat I’m transferring from and to.
So, if a car is too high I can’t get in, and if it’s too low I can’t get out, so I’m looking for a car of the right height.
I managed to get in and out of o Kia Sportage recently.
I’m about 5’5” tall, and need to be able to get my bum at least perched on the seat before being helped to get my legs in.
Any recommendations for. cars with seat heights which might fit the bill please.
I have a Kia stonic, am a couple of inches taller but find it a good height for both getting in and out.

Do you think a banana board would make it easier ?
Thanks. I have a banana board but it doesn’t work for me if there’s too much difference between the height of my wheelchair and the car seat.
That’s a pity, because I used to give a wheelchair user a lift and he seemed to manage ok. No idea how tall he was though, as standing was out, due to him only having one leg.
It might be worth trying the Motability support group and see if they can offer any solutions.
