Hi, hope everyone is as well as possible. I need some advice, I have been doing ISC for 4 years now. I normally pee first, and then use a catheter to make sure my bladder is empty. For the last 3 days, I haven’t been able to pee at all without the catheter and inserting the catheter is very painful. Does this mean i won’t be able to pee on my own anymore? thanks xxx

i have had the same problem and like you, the same worries.
i was intending to contact my bladder nurse but then the waters started to flow again.
maybe it will sort itself out soon or you should seek medical advice.

I have emailed the continence nurse, and she said i might need antibiotics, which I have got. So I guess it is a case of wait and see xxx
