Seems camping is where the funny folk reside. The funny farm posse.
Any ideas where to go, to avoid the insanity of this lovely (UK) & it’s genuine helpers?
Or is it best to catch a plane to the sun somewhere?
Had severe nasal clotting. MS is such fun. Not interested in idiots & their agenda.
Hi do you mean camping as in a tent, or a caravan, or other?
We used to go to a lovely area in Glos…Slimbridge…Tudor Caravan Park. Very good location and brill facilities. They cater for all.
You cant bank on british weather, but we were lucky with good weather.

Camping - as in ‘under canvas’ - we did when l was a kid. Hated the feeling of dampness all the time. Especially the two weeks in Scotland. lf we weren’t soaked through we were bitten to death my midges. A caravan - or motor-home would be more suitable now. But even so - l would find it difficult to get up the steps to get in one. You can rent a static that has disabled friendly access.
Try somewhere not too far away from you for a short-break - this will give you some idea of what you can expect.
Yurts are popular - a much more substantial type of ‘glamping’. They usually have a proper bed - off the ground - and a wood-burner. Toilets will be in a separate block. More an in-convenience!

Had enough of blood suckers & stenches.
Catching a plane to the turquoise sea, seems the better option.
Thanks for the input.

Hubby and I have spent many great years using folding campers, caravans and latterly motorhomes and campervans.
Our last 2 were built by him, after I fell out of high stepped motorhomes…but very luxurious they were.
The self builds were on panel van conversions, with electric lifts on the back.
Dont use `em now for my hols, as a hoist is needed and we aint going to that expense!
But he goes on his own and I go elsewhere with my carers, after he told me A holiday with you, isn
t a holiday for me anymore!` Fair enough!
result…fabulous!!!
