Hi
attempted some exercise today took youngest daughter out on her electric scooter thought I’d try to jog along side her in an attempt to get fitter
Wow whole body buzzing sensation as soon as I stopped went away within a minute
Stopped & started jogging a few times and happened every time
Guessing this is from the lesion I have in my spine
Anyone else have this happen with exercise?
Oh and merry Christmas
That takes me straight back 25 years to when I was newly dx and was at a spa with some girlfriends and (unusually for me) had used the gym. Exactly that buzzing feeling lasted for a couple of hours and really freaked me out. It never happened that way again, but my guess is that it’s what can happen in those early days when one’s ms is very active, as I know yours is. As I say, it never happened like that again for me.
Hi Alison
Yes took me by surprise, can still feel it very mildly now
2nd jan is 1st tysrabi infusion hopefully puts the brakes on it all a bit
I’m dreading it and looking forward to it at the same time
Think I’ve read it usually takes around 1hr is that the case ?
Thanks
I expect it varies from place to place. The standard infusion time is one hour. They might well want you to stay in for an hour after also to check you’re doing ok. And it can take time to get you ready and get the drugs ready and if I were you I wouldn’t expect much change from 3 hours as a new patient. If it’s faster, that’s a bonus. Good luck.
Hi
Yes heels/ankles are aching which is a bit of a new one on top of all the others
I’ll look into that cream thanks
Hey, this is how I got my diagnosis. I started a stupid bet with myself that I could run 5k every day for 365 days after a month my fingers started to tingle and go numb, now 9 months on it’s still there in my whole hand and forearm. Writing this as the thing is currently keeping me awake I’m hoping that my dr can give me something soon as Iv even wonder if they just chopped it off would I feel better. I did have for a time a full body tingle if I leaned forward but that has faded away however I now appear to have gone deaf in the opposite ear to my hand thing.
Great having this forum as people at home and work just look at me like I’m stupid as they just don’t understand
Right now both my hands are tingling and when I lean forward my arms chest hands buzz more intensely, the whole body buzzing after exercise has diminished thankfully
