Buzzzzzzzzzzz!

I know the answer is probably no, but has anyone found anything to help with the buzzing feeling some of us get, you know, the one like you are plugged it to an electric socket? I get it particularly badly when I am stressed (like now) and find it hard to concentrate, as it overwhelms me.

The buzzing is worst in my feet and legs. My cqn spread all over the my body when I am stressed. I have got my name down for the mindfulness at our neurological centre. Hope I don’t have to wait long As I think it will really help. Barney

I’m buzzing like nobody’s business today! It’s normally in my legs and feet with buzzing down spine when I bend my head forward. Today it’s quite intense in my lower spine which is making me worry about what’s going yo happen to my legs tomorrow. Paranoia :). I’m starting my mindfulness course in a fortnight so I’ll let you know if it helps with the buzzing!

I will go and do some mindfulness meditation now, as I have access to guided meditations from a mindfulness meditation kindle book I bought. I will see if I can concentrate enough for the body scan. As for where my buzzing is worse, I guess my hands and head, but it feels like it travels in a circuit around my body really. I had some stressful news about my return to work yesterday and have been buzzing constantly ever since, even if I am not consciously thinking about the news.

Not sure if it is the same but I get a feeling like sparkles under my skin. You know the rock candy you get that pops in your mouth - its like that only under my skin. I get it in my legs and around my middle sometimes after my after-lunch walk.

That’s a good way of describing the particularly bad ones I get after exercising!

Hi Puddinglover

I’ve been under a huge ammount of stress recently, and have been buzzing like I’m plugged into the mains and there’s a power surge!

I get it on the left side of my face, my bottom lip and chin and the back of my neck and down my left arm.

This was my first major symptom and I thought I was having a stroke!

Havn’t really found anything that helps, but think I need to have a lot less stress in my life!

Maybe we should be studied to see if we could be added to the National Grid to generate electricity with all the buzzing going on  I certainly feel I have some buzzzzzz to spare!

Had to comment as the last post really made me laugh as it’s what I said to a friend yesterday I have been buzzing away for 5 weeks solid now although it changes in intensity … It’s driving me mad

I had it for a couple of months recently. Whenever I put my heels to the floor I’d get it running up the backs of my legs. Really annoying! Thankfully it’s diminished a lot now and I barely feel it. I started on Gilenya and my symptoms improved since, whether that’s related or not I have no idea but I’m pretty much symptom free at the moment whereas before I started Gilenya I had the issues with my legs, numbness in my side, a slight touch of vision loss from optic neuritis and heaviness in my arm.

Hi all. This post has made me chuckle. I guess I get this though not as intensely as some it’s such a strange feeling not quite ants running all over your body… But it’s… I can’t quite explain it. Buzzing is definitely a good description . I get this feeling from head to foot quite often, occasionally just my head I’m pleased I’m not the only one that gets this Kate x x
