'Burning' feeling in scalp

Hi

I had a new symptom last night which scared me silly.

I’ve had the sensation on and off of crawling in my scalp for a few weeks now (intermittent) but last night I had the most awful pressure (under my scalp) which I can only describe as a tight/burning sensation around the back of my head. It wasn’t painful, more deeply unpleasant. After this I noticed my vision is now more blurred on my left side. Also I noticed that I was also numb for the first time in the genital area (this eased by the morning)…

Has anyone else had anything like this before? I guess it’s just another symptom to add to the list for the end of the week when I am seeing the neurologist.

Hi,

yes I get the same crawling sensation across my scalp and had numbness genital area. It doesn’t last long but had it few times now. I have my appointment in few week and not diagnosed yet with anything. Just wanted to let you know it seems common. Good luck with the appointment
