A few days ago I was wondering about the actual price of an M&S brown seeded gluten free loaf. I was used to paying £2.45 at M&S Bagshot then suddenly I was asked for £3.19. This is of course a loaf of bread!

M&S at Camberley wanted £2.99 today - for the same item exactly.

What’s going on?

It’s a loaf, and a bloody small one too.

I suspect the problem is you live in Surrey!

I’m not sure M&S have a nationwide pricing structure: they charge what the local market will bear. In Surrey, that’s quite a lot (spent a whole Summer living & working in Weybridge once).
