Bored in the house

Anyone else going absolutely crazy? Diagnosed last October with RRMS And up til the delightfully Coronavirus I’ve been able to manage my job as a response officer for the police. Im currently rocking in a corner, waiting for a laptop to work from home but struggling to sit at home doing nothing while my mates risk themselves out and about. Why on earth does this friend of ours have to cause such disruption eh?? Mick

Hi Mick,

for those used to going out to work daily, it must be horrible…this sudden forced internment!

I had to find other stuff to do when I had to take early retirement, due to ill health 21 years ago!

Hope you get your laptop soon and can occupy yourself.

Thankyou to you and your colleagues for the sterling work you do.

No laptop required.

I just spent a whole day cleaning out a kitchen draw and all of its contents! Are you sure you haven’t got a book in your house you haven’t read? How about calling an old friend you’ve not spoken to for a long time for a chat, that could bear more fruit than you could imagine.

Don’t panic, and try something different.

Best way to pass the time is cooking.

go on facebook and defend your colleagues, jeez i did yesterday lol. a video showing some police guy telling a guy TO GO HOME your KILLING PEOPLE, he said he was a journalist etc, and this was causing ructions on facebook.

trying to give the police a bad press makes me so mad.

oh right bored NAH not me. I love being at home, been at home since 2006 so much to do. xxx

An even better way to pass the time is eating.

Dear me puddytat, you sound like a bored teenager, “I’m bored”… Switch on the TV, theres motivational stuff aplenty even w.o. a laptop. Read a book. Garden, look at the out side world. Clean the house. Cook Bake. Use that brain.
