Book Recommendations Anyone?

Hi

Today is ‘Bloomsday’ so has to be

James Joyce’s Ulysses

Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom is quietly thought-provoking; Jeffrey Eugenides The Virgin Suicides is, despite title, not depressing and one of the best written books I’ve read. Avoid consensus opinion: 50 Shades I agonisingly poor

Or agonisingly wonderful but definitely not a book for men. I bought it on Kindle, read it in a day and immediately bought the next two.

They are beautifully written, painfully graphic [by painfully I mean they should be read in private] and so sexy. Not at all my normal type of reading matter but so good for being so different.

For many women these are the books that fantasy comes from…

Loving them.

My favorite books are books about computers, internet, website directory,iTunes,iPods and anything to do with computers and its software…

I first got hooked getting CDs from my local library then ripping them. Costs a couple of quid or free if I get my partner to get them out on his card as he’s registered partially-sighted.

Audible prices are a rip-off for one off books, but I signed up for the monthly menbership and get 2 a month for £15 which I think is reasonable for the full length books.

Must say I’m kinda bored with it on the radio, as I can’t seem to understand what’s going on. Probably be better to read the book! It’s on my list.
