Thanks Goldrat for the pointers,

My significant other is very sensible and will not abuse it (I will not let her either hehe).

I know our neighbouring council is not part of our county council and in their “off road” car parks only BB’s issued by them get free parking in the car park if it is issued by someone else, like the county council, you can use the space but have to pay. On street parking is different rules.
