I am able to stand on our bathroom scales, but find them too sensitive; as I am unable to stand totally still, the reading fluctuates a lot. Any suggestions eg. a particular make etc. would be greatly appreciated.
I can’t recommend anything I’m afraid, the only time I get weighed these days is if I’m in a medical appointment and they use a hoist that has got scales built into them. Not all of them have, but it’s quite exciting when it happens! I was delighted to find that I am the lightest I have been for nearly 30 years, although my gut is bigger than it has ever been. Turns out I’ve lost an awful lot of muscle, and because I am a permanent wheelchair user all of the skin and everything else has sunk down to my waist.
Short of a scale you can sit sit on I’m not sure there is a way of getting weighed. Fingers crossed you can find something
