Avatar - how do I get one ?

Am I the only thicko who has not managed to sort this out yet ? Can someone tell me what to do please.

First, you need an avatar! Save this as a file where you know you can find it fast.

Now you go via your homepage, to your profile, then you edit your profile, and then you change the avatar from nothing to the file you have created.

Be warned, the size available for an avatar is not very big. From memory, it needs to be a .jpg file about 140 pixels wide and about 180 high. That will be about 50kb in size.
