autumn covid booster anyone?

Hi there everyone,
Has anyone had the new super duper Covid Autumn booster. Im due mine and wonder if the side effects are tolerable, hideous or not worth mentioning?
Would love to hear of anyones experience.

Had mine and flu vax the same time last week. Had a hideous night, not sure from which one but I’m Immuno suppressed and having my next Ocrevus on 3 weeks time so it timed nicely. Having had COVID once I wouldn’t consider missing the vax it was quite tough and ended with iv infusion

I had mine a few weeks ago - a bit of a sore arm and some slight fatigue for about 24 hours but nothing really.
I’d say it’s definitely worth having.

Had mine, sore arm like last time, but couple of days later I was fine. My in laws had it worse and no MS, so I think like with all vac, it all depends on the individual x

Hi Judy, I had both jags 2 weeks ago and I was absolutely fine, arm a wee bit sore but it soon settled.

I had both a few weeks back. Arms were a bit tender at injection site but beyond that nothing else. Good luck.

Sorry to hear about your hideous night. I had one of those with the original MODERNA. All my ms symptoms kicked off big time but I think it’s the best thing to have it done although many disagree. Personal choice really. Judyx

I had mine Sunday (Pfizer) I had really bad side effects this time ( none with first 2 jabs , some with third) woke sneezing my head off and shivering , fever … lasted around 48hrs but I was a little off when I had it so putting down to that … does sort of put me off having another but those getting Covid again are being quite poorly …hard decision

Hello, I had Pfizer on Weds. Sore arm Weds night but all gone now [Friday evening).

I had no other issues

I got the new bivalent (2 strain) Moderna jab Thursday afternoon. Had a thumping headache for 24 hrs though it could have been a mild migraine which arrived by coincidence. Had flu-like sensation for about 8 hours after the first (AZ) but absolutely no reaction to 2nd (AZ) or 3rd (M).

Hi there thank you for your experience. Going in on Monday aft. Gulp. But rather some symptoms than the real thing. Either/or isn’t it? Judy

Do I, I don’t I? I have had the Pfizer, AZ, mild aches and migraine after each. I had the Moderna 2 weeks back exactly the same, crazy head.

Remember there are many who have no after affects at all.

We are all different but as you say better than having Covid.

Update:
Following Thursday’s bivalent Moderna jab and feeling rotten for the remainder of Thurs + Fri, I woke up full of the joys etc. Even my legs felt a bit less heavy (been a bad week…). So had my flu jab on Sat. Was concerned that covid + flu jabs 2 days apart might have been asking for trouble but been absolutely fine.

I’m on no DMT’s for MS, so to anyone else in my situation, get all your jabs - they’re there for a reason :+1: And if you are on DMT’s - I’m not the person to ask.

You may be surprised to learn this, but HELL NO !!!
