If any people with MS have already received a Covid vaccine, I would like their take on side effects they have experienced. On the grapevine, I have heard people have relapsed after the vaccine, I have been offered the vaccine and obviously this information has made me wary.
I was given the oxford vaccine. I had the vaccine in the morning and then that evening I had the shivers and a few of my ms symptoms. But by the next morning I just had a headache so took 2 paracetamol, then by lunchtime I was feeling fine.
Hi, i had the pfizer vaccine about 4 weeks ago and i was fine = slightly sore arm for a couple of days but nothing ms related. I think whichever vaccine you get it affects people differently. Take care
Hi, I had the Pfizer vaccination on Saturday. On Sunday I was just really tired and then on Monday I had a slight temperature and my arm was a bit sore. Yesterday again I felt very tired and am still feeling that way today.I am really happy to be having some minimal side effects though as as Crazy Chick says it shows that my immune system is ‘doing something’.My biggest worry was that as my lymphocytes are low that I wouldn’t have an immune response and wouldn’t create antibodies.I feel a bit more reassured now .
Had mine…astra zenica/oxford 10 days ago…felt woozy and worse fatigue the morning after. slept it off and have felt better than before since! The actual needle site is still sore to touch…o.k, so I wont touch it then!
Day 3 following my covid Oxford-Astrazeneca jab on 18 March - still have a fever and taking two paracetamol every 4 hours - my ms (spms) symptoms are worse too. Feel very frail. My arm was painful yesterday, but improving this afternoon. I had no sleep last night due to high fever. Hope tonight will be better. Not sure about having the second dose in June.
