I have date in for my Atos Assesment,i also have a MRI scan on my head and spine soon, but wont have results by time of Atos assesment. i phoned to tell them this and i quote “we dont need a assesment” so i assume i go and they then pass me fit for work,well my work says i am no use to them unless i can work normal hours, i cant am exhausted, and days i cant walk far,or have no balance, how do i get Atos to see that some days i am not to bad and others totally goosed!

I recommend that you join the benefitsandwork website if you haven’t already. It costs about £20 for a year’s access, but it really is worth every penny. It gives you all the inside info on ESA, WCA and DLA - so you know what they are really looking for!
None of the DWP benefits rely on diagnoses - they only care about what you can and can’t do. Unfortunately, the test is woeful for things like fatigue
