Hi all, have been taking pregabalin from initially 75mg per day up to the now 300mg per day. This is to continue with a morning 50mg Tapentadol followed by a 50mg evening one.
The internet states the usual medical possible side affects, as does the booklet with the tablets.
Anybody taking Tapentadol and can tell what I could expect and more importantly, does it work with an occasional southern comfort or cider?
Many thanks
Phil
Hi, I am taking no replies to my post to be either: there are no forum readers taking Tapentadol or there are no forum readers taking my post to be serious!
I am SPMS and taking Avonex whilst am fully loaded with Pregabalin for pain relief. The pain specialist has prescibed Tapentadol as a daily top up to the Pregabalin to help ease the symptoms.
Am I the only one taking this cocktail? Feedback please… Thanks
Phil, I just picked up my Rx fo tapentadol, which I haven’t taken before. I take capazone, but all I have had for pain is Tylenol3 (which codeine) which no longer seems to work. Maybe you can tell ME how it’s working for you, since you have already started on it…and I too hope that it goes well with Southern Comfort…or at least Wine!
I think that I am Primary Progressive, but not sure! It had taken 5 years to get the diagnosis at all. I live in Canada and my medical care has been abysmal. I had to do all the research myself, then wait months for appointments with specialists. Now that I have the diagosis, I am learning more from my MS Support Group than I have from any doctor…and I am looking especially forward to dumping my callous neurologist (who actually got her RECEPTIONIST to call me and tell me that Yes, I did have MS) and finding another one who has better People Skills!
Good Luck and let me know how you are doing!
