Wow! I’ve found people who experience the same as me! I have great difficulty turning over and use the rail attached to my bed. I suppose I have the added difficulty of using a catheter as well. I start by lying on my left side, wake about one or two and go on to my back. I do that a few times because I’m sore. I don’t know how to solve it other than by turning over but I concluded that I would naturally turn during the night and now can’t do it without a lot of effort so that’s why this happens. I’d love a full night’s sleep. It doesn’t help that my right foot flexes and the heel digs into the mattress!
