Hi folks, I was wondering if anyone could be kind enough to recommend a Neurologist in the North West? Thanks in advance for any recommendations and anyone who can provide help with finding another Neurologist.

I live in Bolton and see Dr Talbot at Salford Royal. Depends whereabouts you live, but he is excellent and Salford Royal is a neurology centre of excellence so definately worth considering if you live near enough

Thank you so much Nicola for recommending Dr Talbot, I will manage to get to Salford Royal if I do end up asking my GP to get referred to him.

Hi, I knoiw Leeds isn`t exactly Noth West, but I know Dr Lily is a wonderful neuro, who specialises in MS.

Thanks MS43 for the suggestion another name added. After I have got several recommendations I’ll compare the Neurologists background and see which one is more experienced and then make the final decision. Thanks again M

morning, I too would recommend Dr Lilly at Seacroft Leeds, great bloke, and very understanding, also on occassions he is in on some of the research, Jean

I’m looking for a recommended Neurologist in the North West - specifically Cheshire - Macclesfield or nearby who has experience of dealing with MS? Hoping to find a clinician who will treat me as a human being, not had much luck so far despite being in a great deal of pain

i live in bolton and see dr rog at salford royal.

nowadays i get seen by the ms nurses, who are fab.

i do think that salford royal is a brilliant hospital.

in bolton we also get seen by the ms nurses at breightmet.

oh i do some mileage!!
