Hi
I am prediagnosis but pretty likely to be MS with chronic myelopathy, inflammation and lesions at t4.
While I wait for a lumbar puncture does anyone have any advice regarding alternative treatments? I’m thinking massage or maybe cbd oil, gummies (although I am also on heart meds so may need to check this with gp) . Any advice would be great
Hiya Carey.cb,
I don’t know anything about the gummies or cbd.
But I’m on a beta blocker for supra ventricular tachycardia, I usually go for a massage once monthly and she works on my problem areas. I’ve found this to be quite beneficial and have been going since I was diagnosed. Hope it helps you too.
Drs Food, Exercise and Sleep and Stress Management are your friends, so do what you can with those if you aren’t already.
Otherwise do whatever you feel might help and that you can afford. I love a massage too
Hi Carey,
I would recommend looking at the Overcoming MS programme. I’ve been following it since 2016. It’s not for everyone but it explains how you can make changes to your lifestyle which have been proven to have a positive impact on MS.
Best wishes
Anna
In case OMS is of any interest.
Oh that’s helpful, thank you Anna, I will check it out x
